The leadership team of the project presents the site plan, which was unveiled along with the Fountaingate Gardens groundbreaking event.

It’s getting closer every day: Fountaingate Gardens now has a timeline for construction, and excitement is continuing to build for this new lifestyle concept for active older adults on Long Island! Recently, at an exclusive luncheon event for members of the Fountaingate Gardens Founders Club, leadership of the soon-to-be-built Life Plan Community* shared the news that construction will begin in spring 2020.

“We’re here to celebrate that Fountaingate Gardens will be a reality in just a few months, as we are ready to break ground this coming spring,” said Herbert H. Friedman, Founding Executive Vice President and CEO of Gurwin, who is now consulting on the Fountaingate Gardens project. “We’ve been listening to the Founders Club members, further developing our plans, and now it is all about to come to fruition.”

A fete for the Founders Club

Randy Carroll, Fountaingate Gardens Sales & Marketing Director, toasted the Founders Club members for their enthusiasm for the project, presenting custom-engraved champagne flutes to each person in attendance. “Now, the next time you use these glasses,” he said to the crowd, “you’ll be celebrating the first day in your new home at Fountaingate Gardens!”

The luncheon was just one of several special events that Fountaingate Gardens has hosted for members of its Founders Club, those who have decided to make the community their future home by making a reservation deposit. So far, more than 75 individuals and couples have chosen their brand-new homes and secured pre-construction pricing by placing a deposit on their residence of choice.

Before the luncheon ended, members of the Founders Club also received a special preview of Fountaingate Gardens’ newest site plan, floor plans and community renderings, before those details were released to the public.

“It was wonderful to see the updated renderings and hear a little more about what our new community at Fountaingate Gardens will look like,” said one Founders Club member who attended the lunch with her husband.  “We’ve been interested since the day we learned about it; we can’t wait to move in!”

Previewing an exciting future

The groundbreaking announcement celebration took place at The Hamlet Golf & Country Club in Commack, directly across the street from the future site of the community – an example of how Fountaingate Gardens’ setting will keep residents close to the best of Long Island. Its status as a Life Plan Community, an uncommon living concept in the area, will also provide residents long-term peace of mind and financial security.

Aside from the flexible contract options and long-term benefits that come from living at a Life Plan Community, Fountaingate Gardens will combine amenities, activities and fun. Every day at Fountaingate Gardens will provide residents a well-connected, wellness-focused active lifestyle, right in the heart of Long Island. And, even before any of the 129 brand-new apartment homes are built, the Founders Club is meeting regularly to help build a “community without walls” and provide input on what members would like their future at Fountaingate Gardens to include.

If you want to be part of this exciting opportunity and shape your ideal future on Long Island, a limited number of residences at Fountaingate Gardens still remains. The sooner you make a reservation deposit, the better your chance of getting in on the ground floor and selecting a residence that meets your exact needs and wants.
